My name is Marie Clare Allen (MCA) but you can call me Clare! 

 

My experience reaches across corporates such as Glanbia and TransferMate Global Payments, to smaller businesses in the following industries; beauty, fitness, FMCG, agriculture, restaurants, technology, non-for profits and creative arts.

First, I delve into how my client's business works before developing a bespoke marketing strategy. Through the years, I have found that, though there are marketing guidelines, the things that really make a difference are the outlandish ideas and the one off “let’s just go for it” projects. When working with clients, I push the creative boundaries as after all, fortune favours the bold!

My career path is unconventional and, in honesty, I wasn’t sure what direction I was taking but now it all makes sense 💡

✔️ Possessing a childlike curiosity has meant that I followed my interests. Studying Equine Science was an unusual start to getting into Marketing, however, it was through studying this that I landed my first corporate job with Glanbia before taking a leap of faith and moving to the globally expanding, TransferMate Global Payments.

 

⏩ During this time, I followed an idea to develop my own app, which I received funding for and subsequently came runner up in Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneurs competition.    

 

⚡ I have 8+ years of marketing experience from both a corporate and small business perspective. Although I am young in years, I am old in experience with varying industries, businesses and size. Over the past seven years, I’ve helped launch new products, managed winning digital campaigns, coordinated sold out events, researched new global markets & developed new strategies. 

 

✔️ In recent years, I’ve focused on sustainability and work with businesses on their sustainability efforts and how to market these. I work with these businesses via my own Marketing agency, MCA Marketing.

 

⏩ Previously working as Program Manager with INCO Academy, I now write, design and implement training courses in Marketing for those form underserved communities. 

 

My offering is simple; I provide Marketing and Project Management services 💡
